The regressive practice of
Govt. control over Hindu institutions has: a) seriously interfered in the
spiritual and cultural activities, b) violated religious sentiments, suppressed
Hindus human right of religious freedom; c) is effectively demolishing ancient
Hindu religious infrastructure by government gross mismanagement, sale of
endowment lands meant for sustenance in perpetuity, etc. d) stopped the essential
activities of sewa and dharma prachar, except allowing for routine puja rituals
and for tourist visits to temples.
The temple is not just for rituals by purohits that the government wants to
project, but also the centre of community's socio-cultural life, a place of
learning with acharyas, for community sewa and dharma prachar and for character
building. The grandeur of Hinduism - its Vedas, Upanishads, Ramayana,
Mahabharata, the Bhagwad Geeta - its glorious ancient culture, spirituality and
values that the community would like to project and propagate and could only be
done under autonomous Hindu institutionS.
Hence, the mission for urgent
liberation of Hindu religious institutions and to end state sponsored anti-
Hindu crusade and discrimination in India.
