Flagrantly trampling upon the
very basic principles of secularism requiring separation of state and religion -
a worldwide norm in all democratic open societies, Hindu temples and endowments
have been nationalized across India. It is squarely discriminatory against
Hindus, while the minorities such as Muslims and Christians govern their places
of worship. The non transparent operation of temples is intended to keep the
community in dark about mismanagement and to avoid a backlash.
This site is intended to create an awareness on this issue and encourage
devotees and persons with motivation for the very basic and fundamental issue of
religious freedom for Hindus to take up the issue at local, state and national
levels.
